DIY Easy Beginner Card Kit Therapy For the Disabled

Hi and Welcome to the Mountains of North Carolina,
I design DIY card kits and crafts for those who have a disability

How this began:
I have an adult son with autism, so I know and understand the frustrations and dilemmas that families go through raising these special individuals. Life experience has enabled me to assist those with a loved one that has a disability.

I also previously worked with these individuals as a Habilitation Technician and as Special Education Assistant Teacher for Adults.

I decided to share my passion for creating greeting cards with my son, those who have Alzheimer’s, or that are elderly. They were so proud of themselves that they could make something that they can send or give to their loved ones. I also found out that it was very therapeutic for them too!

I researched to see if there were any crafts specifically designed with those who have special needs and found there was a lack of focus in this area. Thus, my line of DIY crafts was born.

It has been very rewarding to take what I have learned with our son and to be able to assist others.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me.
Hopefully, I will have an opportunity to get to know you as well.
